Our Research

Led by Professor Gavin Andrews, CRUfAD has accrued over 35 years of clinical research into anxiety and depression.

Anxiety and depressive disorders are the commonest mental disorder, and while there are effective treatments for all these disorders, there continues to be impediments for those seeking treatment including, clinician competence and patient compliance that occur in various countries.

Although the focus of our research is specific to the anxiety and depressive disorders, the need to understand the wider issues means that we are active in many areas that range from risk factors to service delivery.
